These 'moss' are great greenery for someone looking for something low maintenance but still beautiful and alive. These are not moss at all but rather a form of spherical algae and given a Japanese name that means "seaweed ball."

Each ball is approximately 1 inch and shipped moist in a sealed plastic bag with air. They require minimal light and cooler temperatures to achieve their true green color as they naturally occur in cool lakes. Tap water can be used and only needs to be changed once every 2 weeks and should be allowed to sit for 24 hours prior to swapping it out to allow some water treatment chemicals too dissipate.

If your plant needs added humidity our Plant Mister would make a perfect addition to your plant shelf for both function and beauty.
