An award-winning begonia that prodces stunning rosettes of scalloped deep green leaves with cream-colored veins. The green and pink edges and an underside with fine red strands make this Strawberry Begonia a favorite trailing plant at our nursery. The leaves have a slight fuzzy hair and are a great houseplant and grow cute little plantlet shoots off the growth that can become new plants and easy to propagate.
Once mature enough, the Begonia Saxifraga gets some gorgeous blooms that look almost like orchids. In the wild, this plant grows almost like a mat-forming evergreen with stunning large blooms during spring seasons once large enough.
This is a great plant for terrariums and is very shade tolerant as a ground cover, a great choice for containers and rock gardens too.
