This plant is part of the Tradescantia genus and is native to Mexico and Central America. It is a trailing plant, meaning that it will grow long stems that will hang down and trail over the edge of its container. This makes it perfect for a hanging basket, a shelf, or a windowsill where its leaves can drape downward.

It thrives in bright, indirect light and prefers evenly moist soil, but it can also tolerate some neglect and can survive in lower light conditions. The plant is also known to be a fast grower, so you will be able to enjoy its beauty in no time.
In addition to its beauty, the Tradescantia Zebrina is also known to purify the air by removing harmful toxins, making it attractive and beneficial addition to your home.
