Houseplants Care and Growing Tips

Why you should have a houseplant ?

There are multiple reasons why you should have a plant in your house. Houseplant are good for your health due to the fact that the plants are doing the opposite of what we do when we breathe: release oxygen and absorb carbon dioxide. The plant help refresh the air and eliminate all the toxins. There are multiple studies that house plants improve concentration and productivity, boost your immune system and reduce stress levels

How often should you water your houseplants?

You should water the plant based on its needs. Some plants do not need a lot of water, like cactus, they prefer dry soil, but other plants like water in abundance. Before deciding to purchase a plant do a research about it to know its needs.

How can your houseplant improve the quality of the air?

Plants clean the air through the process of photosynthesis.  They absorb light, carbon dioxide, and water to manufacture sugar. This chemical process creates oxygen.
