Alocasia Bambino

Our Alocasis Bambino is a smaller greenhouse-grown and compact version of the well-known Alocasia lowii 'Polly Amazonica' plant. This plant is striking for its high gloss, dark, and deeply veined leaves. The plant is loved for its narrow and arrow-shaped leaf that is broad, bold, and contrasting pattern with the white veins. 

When you don't want another large plant but want to have part of these stunning leaves in your collection, the Alocasia Bambino is the way to go as it will satisfy with gorgeous leaf growth. 

The flowers on the alocasia are like interesting spikes. They are not generally appreciated as much as the leaves, but interesting hybrids can be grown when they cross-breed through open pollination. 

Available in the following packaging based on your preference:

• Nursery Pot - Standard plastic 4" & 6" planter pot that can be placed inside a larger pot or left as is until it outgrows it.
• Marie Terracotta Pot 4" - a beautiful molded terracotta pot that is porous and fire glazed to allow plant roots to breathe; color works well with any decor and will develop a beautiful patina color over time. Includes matching dish underneath to catch water drainage and protect surfaces. 
• Selene - This plant comes packaged in a white 6-inch round marbled ceramic planter pot ready for your home or office space with a ceramic rose gold tray to catch drips when watered.
• Victoria 4" - An elegant planter with matte black faces. Rubber feet on the bottom and a hole for drainage make it a perfect addition for your houseplants.

All our plants ship exclusively with UPS to ensure they arrive timely and in good condition. We ship most of our plants Mondays & Tuesdays to most of the USA to ensure they arrive speedy to your location. If you order on a Tuesday after 12 PM ET it is possible that we would not ship it till the following Monday.

We monitior the weather in each destination location to maximize the shipping time and utilize thermal protection to ensure that the plant is protected. You can add a heatpack or thermal bag to your order if temperatures at night fall below 40 degrees.
