Plant Care

☀️ Light:
Bright, indirect light is ideal. It can tolerate partial shade and lower-light conditions better than many other succulents. Avoid intense, hot direct afternoon sunlight, which can scorch the leaves.

💧 Water:
The golden rule with Gasteria is less is more! Allow the soil to dry out completely before watering again. When it is time to water, give the plant a thorough drink until water flows from the drainage holes, then allow it to drain completely.

How to avoid killing it with water:
Don't give it frequent little sips of water. Instead, wait until the soil is completely dry, then water thoroughly and let it dry again. Never allow the plant to sit in standing water. Overwatering and poor drainage are much bigger problems for Gasteria than underwatering.

🌱 Soil:
Use a well-draining cactus or succulent potting mix. Good drainage is essential because ‘Little Warty’ does not like constantly wet roots.

🌡️ Temperature:
Enjoys typical indoor temperatures. Protect from freezing temperatures and prolonged cold.

🌿 Fertilizer:
Feed lightly during the active growing season with a diluted, balanced or succulent fertilizer. There is no need to fertilize frequently.
