When the plant is dry, its thick leaves twist and spiral tightly, just like those bouncy curls. In higher humidity, the curls relax and the leaves may stretch out a bit—but the charming, curly look is what gives this air plant its celebrity-inspired nickname.

This slow-growing beauty forms a bulbous base and eventually produces a stunning pink or purple bloom spike as it matures. After flowering, it creates baby “pups” that you can grow into a whole new generation of curly wonders.

No soil needed—just bright, indirect light, fresh airflow, and a gentle misting 2–3 times a week especially by the root area. It’s the perfect choice for mounting on driftwood, hanging in glass orbs, or displaying in creative holders.
