Details

A pink quill and purple flowers make this an easy plant to love. The low maintenance needs and robust nature of this tillandsia or airplane make it a gorgeous addition to any space. In a Moss Ball, this is absolutely a stunner that will hang and inspire beauty.

A gorgeous epiphytic plant that can grow in a pot rather than on other objects. As a Tillandsia (but also part of the Bromeliad family) it grows in a different pattern producing showy pink bracts that resemble ink quills. It does take a few years for the plant to reach maturity to bloom. These are pretty mature at the moment and some have bloomed. The pink quill bract can last up to 4 months. It will then turn brown and dry. Please trim the bract and continue watering the soil once a week as a few months later you will discover a new pink quill bract growing.

So pretty and still doing great!!

I received this plant 2 weeks ago and it looked great upon arrival and it was packed in winter packing. It starting flowering almost instantly and still look beautiful 2 weeks later! I love it but I am worried I won’t be able to keep it alive. I have read their blog and still don’t understand the new babies that appear (towards the roots I think 🤷‍♀️). Anyhow, it’s fun and beautiful for now! The last ones shows the packages but it also came in an insulated bag, etc.

Pink quill airplant

First I didn’t realize this was an air plant so it’s in a pot. Anyway just a couple of weeks ago it started gettin little blue flowers on the quill. I was very surprised and pleased. Will it hurt to keep it in a pot os soil? And should I be watering it since it’s an airplant?
